Coinciding with the 60th edition of the Venice Biennale, and guided by the principles of this year’s International Art Exhibition, PERFORMATICA 2024: “Corpi Estranei Dappertutto” (Foreign Bodies All Over) aims to explore and populate the public realm of the city of Venice from July 24 to 27.

The daily public performance-interventions and presentations by selected artists whose origins and life are connected with the Global South or whose practice reflect on notions of human displacement, gender, and / or identity politics will explore performative modes of psycho-geographic occupation.

Wilson Tapia (Bolivia), Sylvain Souklaye (France), Maria Zourou (Greece), Parul Bouvart (India), Ivan Lupi (Italy), Magaly Vega (Mexico), Sonja van Kerkhoff & Sen McGlinn (New Zealand), Katarina Balunova (Slovakia), Yin-Sheng Liu (Taiwan), Yelena Myshko (Ukraine), Scoop Slone (United States), Bambi Kunst (United States).

Organized & Curated by Hector Canonge for INPA, International Network of Performance Art.
