Carlos Buitrago’s solo paint exhibition, Wanderlust Trails, explores the exhilarating and unpredictable nature of a journey, drawing parallels between the physical trails one traverses and inner paths of self-discovery. Each composition portrays challenges, dreams, and resilience, amidst vibrant landscapes encountered along life’s road. Canvases are saturated with vivid intricacies of color, geometric patterns, and organic forms that transform the human condition into a multi-faceted visual dialogue.
Carlos is a distinguished artist who has been showing in various galleries in Southern California and creating unique art for his collectors for many years. Dena D'Angelo Curations is proud to co-host his first exclusive SOLO Exhibit in Los Angeles! His bold work stirs the emotions, fills the viewer with wonder, and brilliantly blends abstraction, expressionism, and a modern nod to Cubism. The tender stories that accompany the work are on their own worthy of contemplation.
In support of our community, 5% of all sales will be donated to charities for LA artist fire victims.

Born in Colombia and based in California, Buitrago has been deeply influenced by the landscapes and artistic culture of his adopted home state. While his travels to Colombia have enriched his artistic formation, it is California that has given him the most support and recognition in his career. In "Wanderlust Trails” Carlos invites viewers to drift through environments imbued with a sense of adventure and introspection.
