A leading UK architectural practice and the largest in Europe specialising in healthcare, science and education, Nightingale Associates offers services including architectural and interior design, brief writing, strategic and master planning, landscape design, DDA access audits, and conservation.

The award-winning practice often acts as lead consultant of the design team, taking the responsibility of co-ordinating the services of the design team on behalf of the client and aiming to provide the highest possible design quality delivered on time and on budget.

Achieving our exacting quality standards requires a number of objectives to be met. In the short-term, we seek to ensure a building is environmentally appropriate, designed to incorporate current best practice as well as innovating through our dedication to continuous improvement. Established in 1989, Nightingale Associates employs more than 300 staff, of which 185 are architects, across 12 offices, including the practice’s first international studio, based in Cape Town, South Africa. Future plans include expansion into other regions of England, as well as Scotland and Northern Ireland. Nightingale Associates also has strong links with similar practices in the US, Italy and Australia.
