The Walter Wickiser Gallery is proud to present an exhibition of photographs by Graham Nash, entitled Eye2Eye, from May 31st to June 20th, 2017.

Graham Nash is best known for his award winning career as a singer/song writer, but few people know that he has been a serious photographer since the age of seven. He has chronicled a critical age in American Rock & Roll history during his time with Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, photographing most of the music notables of the time in less staged situations. Perhaps equally or more importantly, Graham has always had an interest in photographing everyday streets scenes and things that we take for granted. Somehow his photography and his eye through the camera bring new meaning to these scenes.

In his latest work through photographing street life and found objects, Graham brings attention to what some may view as the current climate in America. In Graham’s own words, “As an artist, I believe that we should tell the truth as much as we can, and ... We should re ect the times in which we live.“ Other works represented in this exhibition focus on the wonderful abstractions that Graham has found in everyday life through his photography.
An opening reception for Graham Nash: Eye2Eye, will be held on Thursday, June 1st, from 6 – 8 pm. For further information, please contact the gallery at (212) 941-1817, Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
