"Seasons". Paintings by Carol Perron Sommerfield

Carol Perron Sommerfield, a Rivertowns painter, will be featured in a solo exhibit at the Howard and Ruth Jacobs Gallery from March 16 through April 29, 2019.  “Seasons” features her  landscape and still life paintings, grouped to tell the story of painting throughout the seasons. Whether abandoned houses, wetlands, or her muse, Lake Muskoday, the mood and styles change as the temperature, light and landscape transform throughout the year.

A free opening reception will be held on April 6, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Howard and Ruth Jacobs Gallery, which is located at the Greenburgh Library in Elmsford, NY. The gallery is open seven days a week and for more information visit www.greeenburghlibrary.org or call 914-721-8200.
