‘Cozzy Livs’ explores individuals’ perspectives, experience and survival through the cost of living crisis. Chilli Studios annual exhibition showcases a diverse collection of over fifty artists of all levels of profession and ability. Although this year’s exhibition tackles a negative topic, it is still a celebration of the immense creativity of the studios’ members and gives value to their personal experiences as they tackle these current challenges.

Chilli Studios’ core values are to promote creative freedom, to explore the power of creativity and its capacity to empower individuals to challenge internal and external perceptions of mental health. This involves valuing everyone’s unique personal expression, inspiring people to take creative chances, build skills and celebrate achievements.

Established in 2004, Chilli Studios is a charity that delivers services to those who are, or are at risk of, experiencing mental health conditions, and those who experience other forms of social exclusion within their communities. Their aim is to improve mental health through engaging people in creative activity – promoting social inclusion and interaction, developing skills and abilities, building resilience, enabling potential, and improving wellbeing.
